The Chengdu Welfare Fund for the Disabled (CWFD) was founded in 1987. It is an independent, non-profit-making, charitable organization approved by the Chinese Government. The purpose of CWFD is to advocate humanitarianism, to advance the cause for disabled people, to maintain the legal rights of the disabled by ensuring the equal participation of people with disabilities in social life thus enabling them to share in the fruits of social and cultural progress, and to work for the disabled in a whole-hearted way. Our mission: Mobilize social power to offer help to the disabled in various ways including contributions of money and material. |
